Dismantling has started as I can't wait to see what is in there, but this is ment to be work during the winter.

Long time since last picture update...
The engine was suprisingly good with all valves free and +.020 pistons

Big ends got tight with all shims removed, and some ligth grinding of end caps.

New piston rings mounted

Main bearings shimmed tight, and magneto re-charged, we got 5-6 volts at approx 150-200 revs, and hope that stays, and gives enough to fire it at cranking speed

Refurbished clutch, used a model N housing and springs which is heavy duty compared to the original F. The plates both dished and flat got a good round with the ball head hammer to get them rough surfaced to make the clutch disengage easy, and not have to grind the gears, and break the gear stick.

Finally with all four wheels on the floor, the tractor looks as an F. Outstanding items at this piont is the fuel tank, seat, and steering wheel rim. It is also time for putting on the wiring and the ignition system.
